Cruises are exactly 1 hour, departing 08:00–18:30 with a 30-minute turnaround between sailings (the last cruise returns at 19:30). Book seats on a shared cruise (R160 per adult · R80 per child), or reserve the whole yacht for a private event of 1 or 2 hours.

Cruises sail every day. The booking calendar opens from tomorrow and runs 7 days ahead. Online bookings must be made at least 24 hours before departure, so the earliest cruise times on the first day may still be greyed out.

Online cruise selections require at least 24 hours' notice (South African time).

Departures: 08:00 · 09:30 · 11:00 · 12:30 · 14:00 · 15:30 · 17:00 · 18:30 — every cruise is exactly 1 hour. Each cruise carries up to 67 guests; full cruises show “Fully booked”, slots reserved for private events show “Private event”, and earlier departures inside the 24-hour window show as unavailable.

Good to know on cruise day

Departure point

Wilson's Wharf, Victoria Embankment (Margaret Mncadi Ave), Durban Point Waterfront, Durban. Get directions. For the latest parking guidance, contact our team before your cruise.

Arrive 15 minutes early

Please be at the wharf at least 15 minutes before your departure time — the yacht sails on time, and online bookings need at least 24 hours' notice.

Your QR tickets

Each guest presents their own QR ticket at boarding (a phone screen is perfect). Guest names are optional — unnamed seats are labelled Adult 1, Child 1 and so on, and every seat has its own unique QR code.

Children & guests

Children (guests under 18) pay the R80 child rate and must be accompanied by at least one adult. Every cruise carries a skipper, crew and safety equipment; please follow the crew's instructions at all times.

Weather & changes

If we cancel a cruise for weather, safety or operational reasons, you can reschedule to a suitable alternative date or request a refund of the amounts paid — see the Cancellation Policy.
